What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and where it goes.

Who we are

Meskot Co. helps people in Ethiopia get ChatGPT Plus and Claude Code, paid in Birr, and helps freelancers, traders and businesses with international accounts and payments. Meskot Co. is independent and is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic.

What you give us

When you order a subscription, the order form asks for your full name, phone number, email address and the transaction number of your payment. It also records which subscription you chose, whether you pay monthly or for 12 months, the amount, and whether you paid by Telebirr or CBE.

When you send an enquiry about international accounts and payments, the form asks what you do, your name, a phone number, Telegram or WhatsApp where we can reach you, and your message.

You pay through Telebirr or your bank, not through this website. We never see your Telebirr PIN, your bank login or any card details; we only receive the transaction number you send us.

Why we use it

  • To check your payment and match it to your order.
  • To contact you and help you activate your subscription.
  • To answer your enquiry.

We do not sell your details.

Where it goes

When you send a form, your details are delivered to Meskot Co. as a message on Telegram, where we read and answer them. The website runs on Vercel, which hosts it and handles the form for us. If you message us on Telegram or WhatsApp, those conversations happen on those services.

Advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To see which ads bring people to the site, the site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta. It sets a cookie in your browser and tells Meta when you visit a page, open the order form, choose a payment method, send an order (with its amount in Birr) or send an enquiry.

When you send an order or an enquiry, we may also share that event with Meta directly from our server, together with your email address and phone number in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match it to an ad you saw. Meta uses this to measure and improve our ads, under its own terms and data policy.

You can limit this: change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, block cookies in your browser, or use a browser or extension that blocks trackers. The website works the same either way.

Your choices

If you would like to know what we have about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, message us on Telegram or WhatsApp.
